"Our suffering is not remembering who we are."
About My Practice
As a practicing psychotherapist, I am committed to helping individuals, become more present, whole, free and responsible for themselves. The journey of therapy helps you to become authentic, creative, resilient and courageous. I gently guide you on a path of becoming more aware of yourself and the world around you by knowing how your beliefs were formed and how they might presently keep you from your destiny. An important goal is to learn to stand on your own two feet to face and accept the stark facts of life —difficulties, struggles, suffering —with dignity and courage. It is about becoming more authentically yourself and embracing both the beautiful and messy parts of life.Through finding your truth, you can find your inner strength and stability.
My small groups have been successful in helping women who are feeling isolated in dealing with their life’s transitions. Group is a safe and confidential place to work through feelings of isolation and painful relational situations while in the presence of an experienced group therapist. It provides an opportunity for personal growth and safe environment to understand how and why one is experiencing unhappiness in their life. Group members are able to experiment with new ways of interacting and receive support and encouragement along the way. Read more about the effectiveness of group therapy here.
